This is a great CJ7. There are probably very few spring 85s left in this condition. I like the red accents of the seats. I have a base model 1985 CJ7 that has many of the same features.

I always love these despite it looking like a Lumina but those 3.4 V6 engines are too problematic. 3.8 V6 engines are best ones; the bulletproof motor.

They go thru the test drive, but DONT show the functional air induction vents, opening and closing, upon hard accelleration. That to me is selling point.

A buddy of mine bought a Biscayne with basically this same body in about '69. It was also a 3 on the tree, and took a full body swing to put her through the gears. Him and I were driving it home from the lot, and pulled into a Burger King for some quick lunch on the fly. I ran in to order and a couple minutes later I was picked up off the ground from behind. My friend had been doing something under the dash when he pulled out an envelope. I t was packed with cash, and looked like maybe the owner had cashed his paycheck and headed to the tavern and just forgot? I don't remember just how much it was, but it more than payed for his new Chevy, and we sat down for a great lunch down the road!!

Bodywork looks flawless on that car. Some serious time put was into block and wet sanding a black car like that,....with that many curves and bodylines. A ton of work.

I had a red 5.7 WITH an ac LOL. It passed everything but the gas station. Exhaust set off alarms in the college parking garage. Hideous gas mileage, was great fun.
